Manchester United star Antonio Valencia and Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale are the fastest players in the world according to a new stat released by FIFA.

Valencia runs 35.1 km/h as the fastest player in the world with Bale as second with 34.7 km/h.

In third position is Tottenham forward, Aaron Lennon with a speed of 33.8 km/h while Cristiano Ronaldo is fourth with 33.6 km/h.

In fifth position is Arsenal star Theo Walcott with a speed of 32.7 km/h.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi is sixth with 32.5 km/h while Wayne Rooney comes seventh with 31.2 km/h.

Bayern Munich forwards Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben are eight and nine on the list with speeds of  30.7 km/h and 30.4 km/hr respectively.

Another Arsenal star, Alexis Sanchez is tenth fastest player in the world with 30.1 km/h.
