Singer to release 4th studio album 'Naked', August 2015

Darey Art Alade is set to release his 4th studio album.

In a chat with journalists today, the respected R&B act disclosed that the album, titled ‘Naked’ will be released in August.

Darey had earlier premiered songs off the album, releasing two singles titled ‘Asiko Laiye’, and ‘Pray for me.’ On both songs he featured indigenous rapper, Olamide, Grammy-winning group, Soweto Gospel Choir. Both tracks were released days ago.

“I had finished the song as far back as December 2014 but listening to the sound during a live recording in London, I was hearing a choir in my head. This was in February. I later got across to them and the recording was done in March,” Darey disclosed on his choice of a choir for a single.

Darey Art Alade also has a forthcoming collaboration with soul singer, Asa, as he intends to go for broke with the album. Other collaborations on ‘Naked’ are yet to be announced.

Darey’s previous albums are (2006), (2009) and ‘Double Dare’ (2011).
