Top 20 songs released in June, 2015

Since the Nigerian elections rolled by, Nigerian artistes have switched in top gear releasing music like it’s going out of fashion.

Competition for places on the playlist of fans is at an all-time high, with amazing music released on a daily basis.

June was a month of wonder, as everyday brought hits after hits. Sometimes, Pulse Nigeria mistook the month for Christmas as we received music from Wizkid, Sarkodie, Phyno, Olamide, Illbliss, Chidinma, Patoranking and Wande Coal.

Amongst all this happiness, we sieved through the avalanche of music, found the best of the best, in no particular order, and you can download them all below.

Olamide – ‘Melo melo’

Delivering his new single 'Melo Melo,' Olamide pours out his heart on the creative Yoruba/Afro ballad. The YBNL boss is letting it all out.

Sarkodie – ‘New guy’ ft Ace Hood

The Ghanaian rap star drops this song titled ‘New guy’, which has had a lot of drama surrounding its conception and recording.

Sarkodie keeps his game strong with his pacy lines, and Ace Hood did justice to the collaboration with his Western flows.

CAPital-Nation – 'Finally' ft. IllBliss, Chidinma, Tha Suspekt, Fefe , Mz Kiss

Checkout the newest tune from the CAPital Nation camp featuring Illbliss, Tha Suspekt, Chidinma and the two most recent addition to the nation Fefe and Mz Kiss.

The tune is titled and it is amazing.

Phyno – 'Nnunu' ft. Storm Rex

The song features Penthauze female singer, Stormrex, who handled the hook on the infectious tune.

‘Nnunu’ is a street slang which translates into English as ‘hot lady’. The track is produced by Major Bangz.

Sean Tizzle - 'Abeg'

Sean Tizzle has dropped a new single titled 'Abeg'. His latest offering was produced by Black Jerzee.

Vector - 'King Kong' remix feat. Sarkodie

Vector teams up with award winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie in the second remix of 'King Kong'.

With a previous remix featuring fellow celebrated rap artists, Phyno and Reminisce, Vector drops this this new remix.

Runtown – 'Bend down pause' ft. Wizkid

Fresh from releasing the visuals to his continental smash collaboration – ‘The Banger’ featuring Uhuru, Runtown brings forth his brand new single – ‘Bend down pause’.

‘Bend Down Pause‘ features Wizkid and was produced by the prolific Del B.

Olu Maintain – 'Cinderella' ft. 2face Idibia

Veteran musician and hitmaker, Olu Maintain, releases his first single in a year titled 'Cinderella'.

The Highlife tune, featuring 2face Idibia, takes us down memory lane with some classic samples including Sir Victor Uwaifo’s 'Guitar Boy' and 'Eddie Quansa' by the Peacock’s Guitar Band.

Kcee – ‘Love boat’ ft. Diamond Platnumz

In the midst of his tour around America and Europe recently, Kcee is not stopping at making sure his fans hear something new from him.

Tekno - 'Duro'

KKTBM hip-hop star Yung6ix who recently premiered the music video for'Heartbreak Swag', off his acclaimed debut album "6 O' Clock", unwraps the lead single off his anticipated EP titled​ 'Billionaire Ambitions'.

The track christened 'Blessings', is an inspiration cut which features the musical taliban Oritse Femi. The number was officially premiered yesterday on The Beat 99.9 FM and received rave reviews.

Cynthia Morgan – 'Simati Niya'

Notherside Inc presents brand new tune from Cynthia Morgan.

After the success of her thumping ‘Come and do’ video, she gives us this new one titled 'Simati Niya'.

Phyno - 'Asai'

Phyno is out with a new hard core hip-hop jam. He calls this one 'Asai' and most commendably he produced it himself.

Super Producer/Artist Maleek Berry comes out with another Afrobeat production collaboration with Nigerian superstar Wizkid after a long hiatus.

The Nigerian pop star has dropped the single entitled ‘Fans mi’, a song which features the Maybach Music Group (MMG) rapper.

‘Fans mi’ was produced by Shizzi.

Patoranking – 'My woman, my everything' ft Wande Coal

Even though he has the streets still basking in the spiral buzz of ‘Daniella Whine’ his last single, Patoranking is poised to take the groove up a notch higher with this one.

Mr. 2kay & The Jonsers – 'Who no like better thing’

Who no like better thing’ is a song by Mr 2kay with  Ayzed and Hans, both of who make up the group called ‘The Jonsers’.

It was produced by Ayzed with vocals by Mr 2kay. The song tells a very simple story about life and its reality.
