Bouncer hits star in the head, knocks him into a coma

An Australian cricket player Phil Hughes was hit in the face by a bouncing ball from an opponent in a Sheffiled Shield cricket match against New South Wales today.

The throw from NSW Sean Abbott bounced off the ground and lifted up high into the face of the batsman who became dizzy at that point before falling to the ground unconscious.

The 25 year-old collapsed on the scene and was stretched off, after which he was rushed to the hospital.

Hughes is said to be in a critical condition as at the time of report.
