'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' trailer is out and it is batshit crazy

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's 2009 parody novel that marries Austen's classic with a tale of the undead.

An extension of the classic Jane Austen novel, the story begins when a mysterious plague hits Meryton, where the dead are returning to life.

Elizabeth Bennet is ready to wipe out the zombies, but becomes distracted by Mr. Darcy.

The story is relatively faithful to the original – albeit with the characters living day-to-day with the threat of zombie hordes.

“If Jane Austen had been alive, this is the version she'd have liked the best.” Sam Riley who plays Mr Darcy told the Independent UK.

Starring Lily James, Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Matt Smith, this movie looks batshit crazy.
