Whitney Way Thore Responds To Allegations That She Photoshops Her Instagram Photos
A note to all body shamers on Instagram: Whitney Way Thore is not here for your comments.
Whitney, 35, the star of TLC's My Big Fat Fabulous Life, shared a photo Friday celebrating her boyfriend's birthday. "Happy birthday, @severinbro7," the post simply said. But soon, Internet trolls began to comment on the picture, accusing Whitney of photoshopping.
"STOP fixing your pics!! If you are so proud of "who" you are, why do you feel the need to doctor the photographs??? Sending the WRONG message!!!" wrote one commenter. Another said, "You look so good in the picture it looks like it's messed with!!!" Nice, huh?

But once Whitney saw the comments, she made it clear that she was not going to tolerate them. In a follow-up post, Whitney shared a screenshot of her camera roll, which showed a full nine photos of herself and her boyfriend-clearly she took multiple photos to choose which one she thought was best.
"Sometimes the internet KILLS ME," she wrote. "In my last post I was trying to celebrate my boos birthday (thank you for all the sweet compliments and birthday wishes for @severinbro7!) but I keep seeing accusations of me using photoshop."

Im not sorry my face doesnt always look as fat as you want it to. I will never, NEVER manipulate my photos digitally to make myself look thinner. So here ya go, straight from the camera roll. Youre welcome for the cleavage pic, too. A post shared by Whitney Way Thore (@whitneywaythore) on Jun 7, 2019 at 3:40pm PDT
Whitney went on to say that she has never and will never manipulate her photos. "Im not sorry my face doesnt always look as fat as you want it to," she wrote. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time Whitney's had to take on her haters. Back in 2018 she also clapped back when some of her followers criticized her for not appearing to be losing any weight.
In response to that criticism, Whitney wrote, "Where I am today is a woman who, just like you, is trying to be balanced, who is trying to be healthy (also mentally and emotionally), and who is just...doing her best."
Props to Whitney for always sticking up for herself.
