Lots of events and preparations are being put in place towards the big celebration, and the latest of them is the traditional henna ceremony which has supposedly taken place at the presidential villa, Abuja, yesterday, December 15, 2016.

Aisha Buhari, the first lady of the republic and proud mother of the BRIDE, takes to her Twitter account to share some of the pictures from the ceremony.

The bride can be seen in the pictures amongst friends and family all smiles as the traditional painting was made on her hand.

Another snap shows Zahra and Aisha Buhari full of happy smiles as they pose for a pic together.

Earlier yesterday, Mrs. Buhari also shared some prewedding pictures of her daughter and her groom, Ahmed Indimi, and asked for prayers on their behalf.
