OOD MAN Opens Its Flagship Store in Lekki, Redefining Men’s Fashion in Lagos

On Sunday, October 12, 2025, Lagos’ fashion and entertainment elite gathered at 7B Hakeem Dickson Link Road, Lekki, for the grand opening of OOD MAN, a contemporary men’s fashion retail store founded by Valentine “Valo” Ngaji and Marshall Onaemo, the music industry executives behind KeyQaad.

The launch event drew an eclectic mix of music and media personalities alongside fashion icons, creating an atmosphere that perfectly mirrored OOD MAN’s blend of creativity, culture, and class. Notable attendees included Sir Banko, Ebikka, Sheye Banks, Do2dtun, Kolapo, Tyrone, Praiz, Phenom, and KaeStyle. Also in attendance were renowned fashion figures TheStyleInfidel, Topher J, Sooj, and Noble Igwe, among many others.

Speaking at the event, Valo, who also serves as the store’s curator, shared his vision for the brand and its broader expansion plans:

“It’s a chain of men's stores starting with this flagship store here at Lekki,” he said.

He went on to express the conviction behind OOD MAN’s aesthetic direction and the brand’s commitment to timeless style:

“When I was going to open the store, some people said I should venture into pieces like distressed and ripped jeans because that’s what boys are wearing now,” Valo recalled. “But I refuted that. People still want to dress simple and dress like men in Lagos — and today, Lagos spoke loud and clear, as the store was filled to the brim.”
