Illbliss, Reminisce, others invade mainland, excite fans

It was a fantastic night of Nigerian music and celebration of the vibrant industry in the mainland area of Lagos.

The industry nite mainland invasion that held on Wednesday March 22, 2017 was quite an entertaining experience - from the talented set of drummer, keyboardist and guitarist playing the instrumental of a number of hit songs to the bright upcoming and established acts on showcase.

Spanky the official industry nite host and hypeman was his usual energetic self, carrying on the audience along with his magnetic persona as he introduced each and every act, while busting dance moves in between.

Most of the upcoming acts gave a decent account of themselves, putting up a tidy performance. Burst of rap skills, melodious singing and good use of the stage was evident.

DJ Consequence showed mad skills on deck as the official host DJ, getting the music on for the night.

Tinny Entertainment's Dapo Tuburna came through with his 'Nothing' anthem including some of his other songs.

Achievas Entertainment new signee Attitude came also put up a good show, confident in his own skin and abilities. The rapper performed his song 'Aye' featuring Ycee, and his featured DJ Consequence record that's also got Reekado banks on.

A fast emerging street certified act Junior Boy was a crowd favourite, having everyone pumped up as he hit the stage. Like a Small doctor, he was all over the stage, and had everyone singing along easily to his songs. It was a remarkable sight.

Aquila records' Airboy was also well received as he performed his singles 'Nawo Nawo' among others. The act sure had fun on stage entertaining he audience.

Capital Hill's Mz Kiss brought her energy to the stage, looking pretty and fierce as she performed. in her Yoruba tongue.

Surprise appearances came through with Alaga Ibile Reminisce, Jah Bless and Sheyman getting on with the buzz.

Casually having conversation with the crowd, they all perform the late Dagrin tribute song  'My pain' tjhat features Omawumi, Eldee and a host of other acts.

Flashes of performance of individual songs by Sheyman ('Ball properly', 'Paper'), and Reminisce's  'Asalamalekun' hit the audience.

MSN Gang and Jebon Records act Rayce follows suit with performances of his old and trending new songs.

Spanky then ushers in the headliner act and last performer of the night Oga Boss Illbliss, as he thrills fans with 'Jawon laya', 'Can't hear you' and 'Bank alert'.

It was a fantastic night of music and celebration of the vibrant industry. Lagos mainland sure had a feel of this.
