"Imo State Is Protected By The Holy Spirit" - Bishop David Oyedepo

The General Overseer of the Living Faith Church International, Winners’ Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has come out to condemn the attempted attack on a branch of his church in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, South-East Nigeria, stressing that the bombers could not succeed because the state is divinely protected by the Holy Spirit.

Bishop Oyedepo reacted this way when he paid the state a visit to shortly after the bombs were discovered last Sunday.

While visiting the state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Papa said that he is saddened by the continuous killings and kidnappings carried out by the dreaded Boko Haram insurgents in the country, while praying that God should give Nigerian leaders the wisdom to stop the acts of terrorism.

I pray that God should give our leaders the wisdom to stop terrorism.

I also pray for Imo State and I want to tell you that Imo State is protected by the Holy Spirit.
