<strong>Innocent Ujah Idibia</strong> was born in Jos, Nigeria on the 18th of September 1975. He is actually from area and from the Idoma ethnic group in the southern part of <strong>Benue State</strong>. It was while in IMT he began his musical career, composing and singing jingles for the likes of Enugu State Broadcasting Services (ESBS), during this time he met with fellow indegine, Ahmedu Augustine.

He later moved to Lagos with Ahmedu Augustine (Blackface) and they formed Plantashiun Boyz, after which he took up the alias «2Face,» which he defined as «trying to demarcate my personal life with my business life.»Richard Chibuzor Orji (Faze) would later join the group.

2Face Idibia left the group in 2006, joining Kennis Music Label to begin a solo career. His first solo Album titled «Face 2 Face» turned out a massive hit and the song «African Queen» would later go on to become the biggest song in Africa, winning him series of awards.

2face Idibia is a charming guy whose humble nature and simple lifestlye endeared him to many, especially the ladies, who later proved too much for him to handle. As 2face went on to have six (6) children from three (3) different women. He however won the hearts of many when he eventually married his long-time lover and babymama, Annie Macaulay whom he had been dating even before he became famous.

As an artiste there is almost nothing 2face hasn't achieved, save for the Grammy. He became the first Nigerian artiste whose song was featured in a Hollywood movie (African Queen- Phat Girls). He was the first Nigerian to win the MTV Africa Music Awards for Best Male and Artist of the year. He is the first non-Liberian to become an honorary member of the Liberian music society in recognition for his outstanding contribution to the growth of music in Africa. He is part of the Sony All African One8 Project alongside seven other musicians across Africa recording a single with R. Kelly and Prince Lee titled «Hands Across the World.

2face Innocent Idibia is living music icon not just in Nigeria but in Africa as a whole, he has inspired many artistes and is today helping many as well through his record label Hypertek.
