Scrabble adds 6,500 words to its dictionary

The popular board game Scrabble has an added 6,500 words.

The new words are from social media and technology. Some of the words are 'lotsa', 'twerking', 'lolz', 'emoji' and 'ridic'.

There is also 'Facetime', the iPhone app of the same name, will earn you a cool can get you a score of 15 points.Emoji, Bezzy, Wahh, have also been added.

This new list was influenced from a wide range- social media, food, slang and technology.

The Collins Scrabble Word List is made up of more than 276,000 words.
