Rapper cannot choose between music and comedy

Falz cannot choose between his flying music career and his rewarding foray into the comedy circles.

The rapper is currently on a good run with his career as he combines a potent mix of comedy and rapping to keep people entertained.

But when it comes down to making a choice between both worlds, he is torn. Falz says it will be pretty difficult making that call.

“Falz The Bahd Guy is a brand that encompasses both music and comedy and I believe it’s a wonderful blend,” he told NET.

“It’s a tough question for me if I have to choose between rap and comedy because the brand like I said encompasses both so it will be a tough decision choosing one. I am simply cool with both.” He further said.

Falz has released his sophomore studio album “Stories That Touch”.

The album which was dropped on Monday, November 16, features 17 tracks which comprises of a variety of genres including pop, Afrobeat, Highlife and others.

“Stories That Touch” contains 12 collaborations from artistes including Oyinkansola, Phyno, Chigurl, Simi, Reminisce, Sess, Reekado Banks, Poe, Chyn, Bez, M.I, and Show Dem Camp.

Production on the album was handled almost exclusively by Sess, with a single track created by Tin Tin.

Speaking at a press conference on the theme of the album, Falz highlighted topics like life, relationships and the everyday hustle, further stating that the album contains different stories that he believes everybody who listens would be able to relate to, hence the title 'Stories That Touch'.

In his words, “The project tells stories that I think everyone can visualise. There are songs there for every individual. The idea is for you to listen and feel like you are the one that I'm rapping about. I want people to enter into the spirit of my music.”

He also emphasised that he wants to showcase the depth in his music so that people can look beyond 'Falz the funny guy'.
