New Artiste- Introducing Nasiim

The name ‘Nasiim’ is gotten from the first alphabet of every member of his family “NA” for Nana Aisha, his mother “S” for Salamatu his sister, “I” for him Isa, the second “I” for Innocent his late brother and finally “M” for his dad Mike. In 2006, while in the University of Jos for a diploma programme, he continued his music career on the side. In 2008, he auditioned for Zain tru search in Jos where he came top ten regional finalists and he was also among Glo Naija Sings 2010 top ten regional finalist in Kano.

In 2009, he released another hit single titled “Oti po gon” produced by Mekoyo which rocketed his career and end up as R&B/Pop Rock Artist. His role model is R. Kelly and Luther Vandross. He recorded “Dan maliyo”, “Tear Drop”, “At the Bar” featuring Ceasar-D to add hits to the upcoming album with a video shoot for his single. Danmaliyo and Tear Drop produced by Mo dogg while “At the Bar” was produced by H. Man.

Nasiim won the award, Artist of the Year 2010 at the B.U.K Ex-boys Award Night – he has stepped on stage with the likes of Derenle, Lord of Ajasa, 2face Idibia, Faze, D.J Zeez among others.
