Casper, 28, had reportedly  texted Jennifer, 46, a cartoon photo of an engagement ring, following it up with a call that Jennifer Lopez did not answer.

The reports reveal that, after Jennifer had called back, thanking him for the flowers, Smart had jumped right in, asking for her hand in marriage.

Sadly, Jennifer had “shot him right down,” with the source adding:

“Jen never had any intention of marrying Casper.

“If there’s another marriage for her, it will be a smart one!”
