Media personality Enioluwa Adeoluwa has joined the growing list of public figures condemning the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) for its handling of the 2025 UTME crisis.

In an outburst on Twitter (now X), Enioluwa expressed outrage at the exam body’s tweet that read in part, “Man Proposes, God Disposes," stressing that it was utter wickedness to say such over the mass failure.

It’s the levity with which we treat serious issues that’s heartbreaking. People are saying they’ve been stuck at home for three years, unable to go to the university because of an exam body’s failure. That’s someone’s entire future being stolen—because someone simply refuses to do their job.

The actor went on to say that their response reflects the callousness and irresponsibility with which life-changing errors are often handled in Nigeria.

And instead of outrage, he’s crying and people are clapping. I always say it: many Nigerians have never lived or worked in a functional system, and that’s why we’ve normalised dysfunction. We think it’s okay—but it’s not. This is terrible!

I’m honestly so angry. It means you simply don’t care. To look at all those affected by the issue—people who have lost children, people whose children have sat at home for years doing nothing—and still tweet, ‘Man proposes, God disposes,’ is pure wickedness. What an unkind thing to say at a time like this.

Similarly, Mr Macaroni also lashed out at the exam body over the glitch that caused the mass failure of students who wrote the exam and their subsequent reaction. Now, the affected students are expected to retake the exams.
