Sunday Oliseh has won his first game as coach of Super Eagles after his men battled to a 2-0 win over Niger Republic at the Adokiye Amasiemaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.

After Super Eagles 0-0 draw against Tanzania, Oliseh needed his men to get the result in the international

Nigeria got their first goal through captain of the day Ahmed Musa who scored from the penalty sport.

The Super Eagles got the penalty after striker Anthony Ujah was hauled down in the 18-yard-box.

Chances were hard to come back as Oliseh's men found it hard to penetrate the Nigerien defense.

It looked like Nigeria will make do with a 1-0 win before the impressive Moses Simon hammered in a left footed effort to double the lead.

Simon had been a thorn in the Nigerien defense and was duly rewarded with a goal.

A goal each in the each half by Musa and Emmanuel Emenike were however disallowed by the Ghanaian referee much to he displeasure of the fans.
