In September 2018, Pulse Religion reported that everyone's favorite Christian group will be in the country for the first time for the Night of Worship.

This was after JoshuaVille, the youth expression of Redeemed Christian Church of God and the organizers of the event, shared the news that Hillsong would be performing on Friday, November 16, 2018.

Immediately, many assumed that the performance would be done by the popular group, Hillsong United going as far as to seek for a confirmation on Twitter.

The group finally responded writing, "Hi - sorry this is not us," adding, "Our church from London is sending a worship team."

It was formed as part of Hillsong's youth ministry in 1998. Their goal -  "creating a musical expression that is almost uncomfortable in its uniqueness, our mission is to write songs that awaken churches and individuals to the fact that we are redeemed and called into the story of God."
