Black Stars and Marseille forward, Andre  Ayew has been named the 'Best African Lique 1 Player'  of the season.

The Ghanaian undefined of Super Eagles captain and number one goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama and eight other players to win the Marc-Vivien Foe award.

Ayew's impressive form for Marseille this season has been reward with the award and now succeeds undefined.

RFI - FRANCE 24 Marc-Vivien Foé Award, originally called Trophy for the Best African Ligue 1 Player, was renamed in 2011 to honour the Cameroonian player who died during a football match in 2003.

Other African players who have won the RFI-France 24 Marc Vivien Foe award include Gervinho, 2010 & 2011 (Ivory Coast), Younès Belhanda, 2012 (Morocco) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon) in 2013.
