Fly half James O’ Connor may not be in the World Cup team for the Wallabies of Australia as the 24 has admitted complications that could prevent him from playing in the tournament.
The former London Irish player who was booted out of the Australian team following series of disagreements with the Australian Rugby Union, has not played for the number three team on IRB rankings.
The player has admitted that he does not know if he will play as talks continue with the ARU.
"I can't say much because I don't really know myself to be honest.
"Of course I want to play in the Rugby World Cup and wear the shirt of my country once again. But there are lots of rules and it's complicated.''
O’ Connor who recently signed for French Top 14 side Toulon, says he is focused on his club performance than his World Cup place."I'll continue to discuss with the powers that be if it's feasible. But for now, I want to focus on what I'm doing here at Toulon and to win titles."
