You will soon be able to post multiple photos

You will be able to apply a single filter to all the photos or just tap into them to apply separate effects before posting everything in a single gallery.

Instagram Albums

Photo galleries with multiple photos are coming to Instagram soon - and for everyone too.

Right now the feature, which lets users publish several photos in a single post, is only available to advertisers.

But inside the latest beta release of Instagram for Android is proof that this same feature is making its way to the app.

The way it works, instead of tapping on a photo when you want to upload a photo, you long-press. A prompt then instructs you to select up to 10 images or videos.

You will be able to apply a single filter to all the photos or just tap into them to apply separate effects before posting everything in a single gallery. Followers and other Instagram users will be able to like individual photos in each post.

According to a report on The Verge, an Instagram spokesperson declined to comment on when the feature will be available on iOS and Android.

Hopefully, it will be available soon and we won't have to endless pictures of vacations, weddings, baby showers and graduation in the timeline - usually out of chronological order.
