Pulse named Nigeria's number 1 website for 2014

Sitescore has named Pulse as the most searched website in Nigeria for 2014, with other popular sites and blogs also making the list of 30.

With several websites and blogs churning out tons of interesting articles everyday, it might be difficult to determine who is making the most impact just by taking a look at these sites.

Many Search Engine Optimization (SEO) websites who claim to be experts in site ranking, most times, demand money from some webmasters in order to insert into the site's heading, scripts that will enable a site get accurate certified site Metrics.

Through this unscrupulous means, some sites have been able to climb to the top of the cyber food chain, but only for a short time before Google yanks them down. Some never made it that far.

However, the most accurate website with reliable results is http://www.sitescore.co/ and the site has released a list of top ranking websites in Nigeria for 2014, with Pulse holding the number one position.

This milestone was first announced by Nigerian FM yesterday, January 5, 2015. According to the website: "These days, 90% of  all Nigerian internet sites are using blog themes, It is, therefore, difficult to categorize or place these sites as a blog or a regular website. As the vast majority of the people of the world get their daily news from online sources, we have  site engine optimization (SEO) outlets that claim to be experts in site rankings. These sites demand money and also instruct webmasters to insert into the site’s heading, scripts that will enable a site get accurate certified site Metrics. All this request comes at a price. Fake ranking sites are springing up daily, the more you check your sites, the chances that you spend money without getting result. The most accurate site out there is http://www.sitescore.co/."

Other websites that made the list includes: 360nobs, JUMIA, Bella Naija, Vanguard, Lindaikeji'sblog, Konga, Nairaland, The Punch, etc.
