We will grow economy fast – Udoma says

Udoma said that the country’s exit from recession shows that Buhari’s administration is moving in the right economic direction.

According to the minister, the news will also boost the confidence of investors in the country’s economy.

Udoma said the improvement in the economy shows that the government is meeting the objectives of the economic recovery and growth plan.

The minister also promised Nigerians that they will soon start to feel the impact in the economy.

Udoma said “Now that we have accomplished the first task, attention will now be on growing the economy as rapidly as we can.

“We are happy that people are beginning to see the results of the efforts we have been putting through in the last two years to get the economy back on track and to place it on the path of growth and sustained development.”

The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) recently announced that Nigeria has officially come out of recession.

You will recall that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele, in May 2017, predictedthat the country will be out of recession by the third quarter of 2017.
