Kwara Governor set to provide 1,000 housing units
The governor of Kwara state, Abdulfatah Ahmed, has flagged off the construction of 1,000 housing units.

After laying the foundation, the governor proceeded to speak on the importance of this new housing project.
Governor Ahmed said Kwara State made up for at least 500,000 housing deficits of the country’s 17 million units housing deficit.
Hence, the need for this 1,000 housing units, which should be able to cater the housing needs of the state’s growing population.
He was commended by the Kwara State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Muideen Alalade.
These housing units, 82 units of two bedroom and 418 units of three bedroom, should be ready for habitation in the next ten 10 months.
