The 23-yr-old former Miss South Africa had a lavish wedding ceremony on Saturday, February 6 in the Lourensford Estate in the Western Cape.

Rolene and D’Niel got engaged in December 2014 while she was still the reigning Miss World and it took over a year to plan her wedding due her hectic schedule.

The model posted a first photo of her wedding on her Instagram page quoting a bible verse which read, "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven." Ecclesiastes 3:1.

The bride officially handed over the Miss World title  to Miss Spain, Mireia Lalaguna Royo on December 2015.
