The happy groom-to-be posted photos of his surprise proposal on social media as congratulatory messages came rolling in.

The 32-yr-old popular singer whose real name is Gbemiro Tokunbo, in a recent interview said he plans to get married this year.

In the chat, Gt da Guitarman attributed his desire to get married to his age and how his finance's tribe never affected his decision to propose adding that he pulled the marriage question at the right time.

“It has always been something I wanted to do. I’m going to be 32 this year, so obviously, I’m not getting younger. Apart from the age thing, this is also someone that I love so much. So the proposal is just the right thing to do at this time,’’ the singer explained why he proposed.

“I don’t see love as a tribal thing; it’s about what you feel about a person, and it happens to you naturally. I think one of the problems Nigerians have is that we don’t truly love ourselves. The moment we love ourselves, we’ll see ourselves as Nigerians first and foremost,” Gt da Guitarman spoke on his decision to marry from a different tribe.

On when his wedding is scheduled to hold, the 32-yr-old groom-to-be said: “I will be getting married before the end of the year.”

We can't wait to see GT da Guitarman and Annie on their wedding day.
