Wale, M.I and Myster 24 shuts down Lagos!

The next level home entertainment was hosted by Grammy nominated rapper, Wale, Martell Brand Ambassador, M.I and Apparel 24’s Temitayo Eyitayo presenting their personal take on Martell’s art of hosting.

The City’s top influencers and celebrities across the fashion, music and creative space were hosted to an evening of unsuspected gastronomic experience as Chef Eros brought to life a fusion between food, music, style and culture, whilst discovering the infinite smoothness of the newly unveiled Blue Swift finished in Bourbon casks. As well as sampling specially, curated cocktails such as the Curious Julep.

Evoking the spirit of curiosity, guests were taken on an immersive brand experience through the themed rooms set over four floors, which gave guests a glimpse into the world of the night’s hosts. The ‘Wale’ bed room which featured video games, basketball memorabilia and items from the Rapper’s collection whilst M. I’s room featured a recording booth where guests could become musicians for the night and lay down their tracks.

Guests were treated to a specially curated music experience as DJ Obi and Crowd Kontroller, two of the Country’s finest DJ’s took to the decks. Elevating the music experience was a special performance by Wale who took to the stage to perform some of his biggest tracks. The surprise of the night came as Wizkid joined Wale on stage for a one-off performance to the delight of guests.

The event also served as the official launch of the Martell Blue Swift, the first Martell V.S.O.P finished in Kentucky Bourbon Casks. Martell has set the standard for quality and excellence for over 300 years and perfected its approach to produce superior quality cognacs.

Guests at the event included Toolz Oniru Demuren, Gbemi Olateru, Zainab Balogun, Bolanle Olukanni, Lamide Akintobi. Eku Edewor, Tracy Nwapa, Lynxxx, Timini Egbuson, POE amongst others.
