How you've probably been getting your concealer application wrong!

If you don't get the perfect coverage with your concealer, you've probably been using it the wrong way.

If you don't get the perfect coverage with your concealer, you've probably been using it the wrong way.

Concealers are used to 'correct' dark circles, hyper pigmentation, smoothen out lines and more. A typical  concealer is more of a colour corrector that instantly brightens the skin and blends it with the rest of the surface of the skin.

Applying concealer covers a multitude of otherwise unsightly blemishes when applied perfect, you can either apply with your fingers or beauty blenders for perfect coverage. It is a must have beauty product especially if prone to undereye circle and dull eyes.

There are two different ways to apply the concealer for a flawless finish either with the finger tips or a functional beauty blender after outlining the area (usually undereye) in a 'V' shape.

(According to Cosmo beauty, "the most flattering way to apply concealer is to draw a triangle with the base under your eye and the point toward your cheek").

The best way to apply concealer to cover a dark spot/blemish is to draw a triangle with the base under your eye and the point toward your cheek, then slowly work the product into the skin with a damp blender or push into the skin using the fingers.

It's best to pat/dab/press in concealer gently into the skin instead of swiping or rubbing hard into the skin for a smooth and even coverage.

If your concealer is set in the ways above you are well on your way to perfect coverage.
