The Touch Beauty electric facial cleanser is my new baby though I still have my eyes set on a Foreo Luna mini (I was so close to buying one time and then it was taken off the online place I wanted to order from).
I was too excited I tried the electric facial cleanser the next day and about a week afterwards and it wasn't at all a bad experience!
The Touch Beauty Electric Facial Cleanser came in a box with a transparent area where you could see the cleanser, it came with a brush, a transparent cover (over the brush) and a stand.
The brush is attached to a connecting port on the body of the electric cleanser that comes complete with a single on/off switch powered by batteries.
I used the the electric cleanser with a St Ives foaming cleanser for oily skin (one cleanser that cleans oily skin squeaky clean without drying out the skin). Before then I had wiped out my makeup, you don't wanna leave on a full face of makeup when you use the electric cleanser (that would not be a pretty sight and you'd definitely be driving dirt/grime deeper into your skin).
I dampened my face a little and pumped a bit of my cleanser on the brush and I put it to work. Now the first time, I thought the first speed (did I mention it comes with two speed settings, first obviously for soft cleansing and the second for a deeper cleansing experience) was too soft and slow, so I sent it to cleansing setting two and liked the way it felt!
(Oh the sensation when using it is quite nice, soothing in a way and just kinda 'massaging' the face too- I liked it!) The soft brush works in oscillation; a regular back and forth rhythm ensuring same attention is given to all the areas of the face so you can't possibly 'overwash' or 'underwash' different areas.
I had a thoroughly clean (I felt my face afterwards, yes I know it's bad to touch your face) face after, kinda exfoliated the face too but after a few minutes, I noticed my chin burned a bit (because i jumped to the second speed when I didn't need a deep cleanse!)
You know what? I didn't need to even go to the second speed because I exfoliated that day (in the morning, used the electric cleanser at night) so I didn't need that intensity (I learnt this after I used it the next time settling for just the initial speed when I didn't need to deeply cleanse).
I don't know if the same brush texture works for diverse skintypes but that worked for me. When I looked the brand up online, I saw varieties with some carrying spare brushes in different designs so it's best to pick out what works for you.
For someone trying out an electric facial cleanser for the first time, It was a good experience. I don't use it everyday though but I really like it, it's one to try and you can get via Casabella/Health Plus here in Nigeria or via international shopping sites or even the local ones I guess but ladies an electric facial cleanser is one to cop.
It comes water resistant which is just brilliant
Features two speed settings for soft and deep cleansing which works
It deeply, safely eliminate impurities which is the point (of using a cleanser)
It gently yet deeply reaches to cleanse
Requires little effort
Kinds of massages the face too while at it
Requires little product
Delivers the same rhythm to the different areas of the face
Because it comes gentle, there's the tendency to over do it skipping speed 1 to use 2 otherwise it's fantastic buy at N9k.
Scoring this over 10? Definitely an 8.5.
