Woman claims her husband abandons her during pregnancy

According to the woman, the woman's negligence led to the abnormal physical condition of their second child.

Divorce request.

This contributed to the deformity of their second child, allegedly due to the negligence of the husband, Gbenga Adeleye.

Seun disclosed to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), that her marriage enjoyed a period of happiness until she became pregnant with their first child.

She stated that Gbenga, who is now asking for their to be dissolved, often leaves her without any money.

“Whenever I am pregnant, my husband disappears; he leaves me with no money."

On how she has been coping, the woman explained that she seeks help from her husband's parents, who were not able to do much due to their old age.

“I had three children for him, two girls and a boy, and once he knows I am pregnant he leaves the house only to return when the child is about a year or two."

“I needed to undergo surgery to be able to give birth to our second child but my husband refused to help."

"Eventually, the child was forced out of my womb and it affected him because he was born crippled."

“Our boy, Matthew, is now 11 years old but he cannot do anything on his own.

“I and the children had been evicted from our rented apartment and now squatting with a friend while my husband stays in a three-bedroom flat at Egbeda with another woman.”

According to reports, Gbenga lives in a three bedroom apartment with another woman in Egbeda, Lagos.
