Suspected contract killers nabbed by the police in Calabar

Suspected hired killers who have been causing havoc in Cross River State have been arrested by the state police.

 

Four men who are suspected to be hired killers have been arrested by operatives of the Cross River State Police Command.

According to the police, the four men who have been responsible for many political assassinations in the state, were arrested when they masterminded a crisis in Mkpani community in Yakurr local government area of the state, leading to the death of one person during the governorship and House of Assembly elections on April 11, 2015.

The state Commissioner of Police, Henry Fadairo, confirmed the arrest of the notorious hoodlums and said they had been on the wanted list of the police for a longtime.
