KIZA - Dubai’s first authentic fine dining African restaurant and lounge opened its doors to their new flagship venue in Dubai’s financial district; Emirates Financial Towers, DIFC in October 2015.

Kiza welcomes people in Dubai to taste and experience the rich and diverse cuisine that Africa has to offer as well providing premium entertainment for its guests through their events, resident Afro-jazz band and DJ’s.

The popularity of the Kiza brand, comes from their vision to be market leaders in celebrating and promoting the African culture on a global level. Since its inception in 2012, KIZA has hosted Africa’s top personalities including Government dignitaries, African royalty and public figures including African musicians like; D’banj, Psquare, Wizkid, Davido, Mi Casa, Sauti Sol, Redsan, Freshly Ground, to mention a few.

The new KIZA venue features an external facade with engaging displays of African art, this provides a platform for Art exhibitions where African artisans can display their craft. Once inside the venue, the lounge, stage, LED screen and VIP seating areas provide the perfect set up for intimate entertainment performances such as music shows, spoken word events, Comedy shows, movie premieres Etc. KIZA in partnership with Nigeria’s “Industry Nite” music event have a weekly showcase of top African musicians performing to the Dubai crowd at KIZA. KIZA has also entered a partnership with hugely successful Nigerian Comedian “Basketmouth” bringing his “Lords of the Ribs” comedy event to Dubai where it holds once every month. The first edition of “Lords of the Ribs Dubai” was held on the 19 of December, headlined by Ugandan super comic “Anne Kansiime”. KIZA has fast become a favorite for residents and guest of Dubai as they are guaranteed a thrilling weekend when the restaurant and lounge.

The elegantly furnished dining area offers a culinary journey through the regions of Africa, with a pan-African Menu that serves traditional dishes from the 4 regions of the continent. Seating up to 154 people, the restaurant is not only popular within the African community in Dubai but is also a choice destination for Africans who wish to celebrate their special occasions in Dubai, like weddings, birthdays, Anniversaries, brand launches Etc. The KIZA sales team works with guest to deliver a stress-free occasion. KIZA provides the food, Music- DJ or live band, video and photography services- on demand, executive transportation services to and from the venue- on demand.

The relaxing cigar lounge offers a wide selection of international premium cigars, whiskeys, cognacs and wines. For guests looking for a more intimate setting, there are two private dining rooms which can each be configured for 12 diners, or as a large private dining area for larger parties of up to 25 diners. This same private dining room has a projector screen and can serve as a meeting room for corporate gatherings.

This festive season KIZA has put together a list of entertainment events for their guest and for all Africans who will be visiting Dubai for the holidays. The events include; Christmas dinner party with South African House band “Mi Casa”, New Year Eve countdown dinner party hosted by Nigerian DJ Xclusive including a 5-course dinner and free flowing drinks. At midnight join us at the terrace upstairs for a great view of the spectacular Burj Khalifa & Downtown Dubai Fireworks display. New Year day Dancehall affair with Nigerian dancehall sensations “Patoranking” and “Mufasa”. Enjoy the KIZA resident DJ every night from 11pm or the KIZA live band from 7pm-11pm Wednesday-Saturday.
