There are quite a number of movies you should see in cinemas this February.

While January was a subpar month for Nollywood movies, February offers just two Nigerian movies, but is nevertheless, a month that will make up for the past month.

From the critically acclaimed "Black Panther"to the anticipated "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel," here are five movies you should see in February.

1. "June"

"June" stars Uche JomboToni TonesEmpress NjamahMichelle DedeVector Tha ViperNicky UfonduDaniel HumorousChinyere Wilfred, and Andrea Chika Chukwu.

"June" is a romantic comedy that follows the story of a wedding planner in search of love.

Release date: February 2.

2. "The Royal Hibiscus Hotel "

In "Royal Hibiscus Hotel," a disillusioned London chef visits Nigeria and struggles with her matchmaking mother and restoring the family's rundown hotel.

She's heartbroken when she discovers the man she loves is buying it.

The movie stars Zainab Balogun, Deyemi Okanlawon, Kenneth Okolie, Akah Nnani, Kemi Lala Akindoju among others.

Release date: February 9, 2018.

3. "Black Panther"

"Black Panther" follows T’Challa who, after the events of "Captain America: Civil War," returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to take his place as King.

However, when an old enemy reappears on the radar, T’Challa’s mettle as King and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a conflict that puts the entire fate of Wakanda and the world at risk.

Helmed by "Creed" director, Ryan Coogler, the movie stars Chadwick Boseman as the titular character, Forest Whitaker’s Zuri, Michael B. Jordan’s Eric Killmonger and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda.

It also stars Nigerian actress Tope Aluko, Sterling K. BrownMichael B. JordanLupita Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Danai Gurira.

Release date: February 16.

4. "Fifty Shades Freed"

"Fifty Shades Freed" is the third and final installment of the adaptation of E.L. James’ "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy.

The film stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, respectively.

Following the events of "Fifty Shades Darker," Christian and Ana are now married. However, Ana's life is threatened when her former boss, Jack Hyde, swears revenge for being fired from SIP. Elena also returns to haunt Christian and makes the couple's lives a lot more troublesome.

5. "Early Man"

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, "Early Man" tells the story of Dug, along with sidekick Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy Lord Nooth and his Bronze Age City to save their home.

The movie stars Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne and Maisie Williams.

Release date: February 16.
