One of the main criticisms about Kiss Daniel when he was with the Emperor Geezy fronted label was that he wasn't doing much to be a star or celeb. Kiss Daniel had the hits but it felt he was lacking in the celebrity department.
For a singer with his number of hits, Kiss Daniel rarely made public appearances at events alongside his contemporaries. We only got to him on stage and after that he would disappear. His celeb game was lacking.

We all know that to be a celebrity is more dropping hot songs or good movies. You need to have a presence, a star quality, the 'IT factor' to be considered a celebrity. Kiss Daniel didn't have much of the vital star dust to turn a good singer into a hot celeb. This might have to do with the fact that G-Worldwide wrapped in him foil. In a risk not too overexpose him, the label dimmed his shine.
Well, that's in the past now. Kiss Daniel is his own man and his future lies squarely is in his hands. He has the hits but now he has to focus on being a celebrity. Thankfully he has a sense of humour that seems to have caught on social media.
Just like Falz, he can leverage on this to have people talking about him in non-music conversations. Kiss Daniel strikes us like a brilliant person and the artist responsible for hits like 'Woju', 'Laye' and 'Mama' can think of ways to be a hot celeb.
His fans are counting on him to fully show his potential.
