JAMB to release second batch of results on Tuesday, March 20, 2018

Results of 1.3m candidates will be released on Monday, March 19, while the second batch of the results will be released on Tuesday, March 20.

According to Leadership Newspaper, Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB spokesman on Sunday, March 18 said that the results are ready but the exam body had to screen them before they are released.

Benjamin added that the exam body decided to screen the results because it did not want to cancel them after release.

“We have CCTV cameras at the exam centres so we have to screen and see what happened in each centre before we release the results.

''. CBT results are ready immediately after the exams. It is just that we have to screen them so that we won't release result that we will later cancel''.

JAMB asks candidates to go an check their results

The exam body's spokesman, therefore, asked the candidates to check their result at the Board’s website.

“The candidates can check their result through our website. They can enter their email or registration number.”

The 2018 UTME, which started on Friday, March 9, 2018, was written by a total was written by over 1.6 million candidates. The exam ended on Saturday, March 17, 2018.
