There are actually tips to help determine products that may work for your hair and this may prevent you from buying unnecessary products and in turn save you some money.

No doubt, there has been points in your natural hair journey you became a product junkie by purchasing a product every supposed “Natural hair guru” has used. Well, maybe not everyone but if you are one of those people, I am going to tell you to STOP RIGHT THERE! It is divided into 3, medium(normal), high and low. You can use the water strand test method to determine your hair porosity where a strand of hair is placed in a glass cup of water. If it floats at the top, it is of low porosity, if it sinks to the bottom, it is of high porosity and if it stays in the middle, it is of medium porosity.
