Eddy Remedy speaks about the memories, what he missed about the music industry, how he would describe the defunct Remedies group’s music back then and more.

“We had a way of life, we had a culture, we had a dress code, it was a new community our music when it came in 1997, that’s why we called it the revolution when we came out,” Eddy explained.

“We are still playing the same thing it’s just the lyrical content that’s different” Eddy said on the difference between music during their era and music of now.

On how they prepare backstage before a show, Eddy Montana said they only had managers who were the sole people responsible for preparing the artist for stage during their own time while the new crop of artists  now have make-up artists, stylists, PR and more.

Speaking about comparisons that usually get drawn between artists such as Davido and Wizkid, Eddy believes everybody has their crowd and space.

“The best thing is to appreciate both of them at the level of what they are doing right now.”

He talked about having the support of a recording label, a marketer, collaboration with top artists and internet promotion as some factors that can make a newbie artist in the industry of today make headway.

Eddy then drops his favorite of all his personal songs and hints at possible return of the Remedies when asked about just how important the fans of Eddy Remedy and the Remedies group are in the face of controversies surrounding the split of the group.
