The veteran striker is however not fully letting his hair down in vacation as he posted a video of himself playing with the ball.

In the video, he showed his supreme athleticism and technique as he executed a scissor kick on the beach.

“Making football look easy at Venice Beach #swedenvsfrance,” he wrote alongside the video.

The hashtag in the post makes reference to the stunning scissor kick he scored against France at Euro 2012.

He will be looking to replicate that same form when he finally starts playing for Manchester United.

Without him, the team just jetted out for a pre-season tour of China where they will face Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City.
