First known case of virus in South Korea

The Centre for Disease Control on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 confirmed the first known case of Zika virus in South Korea.

According to the Centre, the victim is a 43-year-old man who travelled to Brazil.

According to , the scientists are breeding 20 million male mosquitoes per week, to copulate with the wild female mosquitoes causing the zika virus.
