Relationship Talk With Bukky: What if your crush needs you to change your religion to be with her?
My girlfriend's ways are so changing a lot. We have issues of religion that are trying to put us apart. I tried to talk to her about it but she is asking me to change to her religion. Please what can I do? I really love her and I am not ready to lose her. What can I do?

Dear reader,
The writing is right there on the wall. You either have to do as she said or let her be.
It is an unfair request on her part, and maybe a little unreasonable too but it is her desire to have it that way and her wishes have to be respected. If you are cool with changing your religion, then go on and do so to please her.
But I suspect you are not willing to do this and that is why you sent this email. In that case, then maybe it is better to let her be. Actually, I advise you do this instead of the former.
Religious changes are meant to happen on a personal level and not because of subtle coercion like the one she is putting you through. If you change your relationship just to get her, it does not mean you have detached from the principles of that religion and eventually you will go back to what you’re used to. When that happens, it would feel like a betrayal, like you tricked her into saying yes to you.
To avoid this, I would advise that you leave this person and go ahead to be with the person who won’t use your religion against you.
It is better that way than being in this contentious situation.
