Samuel has been a revelation for Villareal in their campaign across the season with impressive performances in the Europa League, scoring on his Copa del Rey debut and also scoring his first La Liga goal against before he travelled for the international break.
Chukwueze represented Nigeria at age grade level where he won the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
He is expected to be called up again when the Super Eagles play their last AFCON qualifier against Seychelles in March 2019.
Chukwueze who is rated among the top talents in La Liga is expected to return to action when Villarreal take on Real Betis Balompie in their next league fixture on Sunday, November 25.
