Osimhen €100m transfer: '3 factors that must be met' - Agent
Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is in the transfer rumours section again despite the window being shut till January 2023.
The Nigeria international has made a barnstorming return from injury, netting two (2) goals in less than 90 minutes of action in the space of five days.
Osimhen's good form in front of goal is bound to raise interest in the Super Eagles striker again following a summer transfer period where the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal were reportedly interested in the Napoli forward.
Calenda opens up on Osimhen transfer
However, Osimhen's agent Roberto Calenda has stated that any possible transfer requires the involvement of three main parties, who all have to be in agreement for the deal to go through.
Calenda said on Radio Kiss Kiss as reported by Sky Italia: "We do not find out now that Osimhen is the object of the desire of many teams, but things are done in three: who sells, who buys and the player."
It was rumoured that Napoli demanded a fee of €100m to sell Osimhen during the last summer transfer window but none of the interested clubs were willing to pay.
Osimhen wants to stay at Napoli - Calenda
Irrespective of the price, Osimhen's agent further stated that the Nigeria international is not looking to leave the Naples-based club as he has not changed his mind about seeking another club.
Calenda stated that despite the rumours and how things might change in the future, he will work with Napoli to get the best deal for the Serie A club.
"Already in the summer we spoke clearly and nothing has changed. Someone will have other interests in bringing out certain voices but we have always been clear: Osimhen wants Napoli," Calenda stated.
"He has a long-term agreement but even if the market is dynamic, our will is to do well with Napoli."
Osimhen has scored four (4) goals in only eight (8) appearances for Napoli this season, helping the Luciano Spalletti-led side top both the Italian Serie A table and their UEFA Champions League group.
