Having impressed in Chelsea’s pre-season games so far, the Nigeria international hopes his sharp performances can help him force his way to remain at the club.

“I am lucky doing my pre-season here,’ Moses told the Chelsea’s website.

“With a new manager I want to show my talent and that I am willing to play for the team, but at the same time I wish Nigeria the best and I hope they make the nation proud.”

The 25-year-old has a chance to impress new coach, Antonio Conte who will be using the pre-season games to assess his players.

“I came back to start my pre-season early with the group of players who had been on loan last season, which helped as well, I just want to enjoy my football,” Moses said.

“I want the fans to be able to recognise I am doing something good for the club but at the same time I want to work hard for the team and make sure we win games.”

Moses will be looking to impress Conte more when Chelsea take on Liverpool on Thursday, July 28 in California.

They face Real Madrid in Michigan on Saturday, July 30 before they round up their US tour with a game against AC Milan on Thursday, August 4.
