The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Sunday, October 9 face Zambia in the match-day one of the World Cup qualifiers.

Super Eagles forwards Victor Moses and Isaac Success have been ruled out of the 2018 FIFA World Cup clash between Nigeria and Zambia.

Moses has however withdrawn from the squad because of a hamstring injury he sustained in Chelsea.

“Unfortunately I'm feeling my hamstring and so the club medical team will be reviewing me. Will be working hard to get fit asap #CFC,” the forward wrote on Twitter.

Injury has also forced Watford forward Success to withdraw from the squad.

The 20-year-old scored a late equaliser for undefined.

In their place, Wikki Tourist FC striker Godwin Obaje and Chisom Egbuchulam of Enugu Rangers have been called up.

Egbuchulam scored 15 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) as Rangers lifted the title for the first time in 32 years.

Obaje finished as top scorer of the NPFL with 18 goals.
