Max Verstappen will work alongside his new race engineer, Tom Hart, across three of the remaining six rounds of the current Formula 1 season.
The four-time world champion is set to part ways with his long-time race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase at the end of the year, ahead of the Briton's move to McLaren. Lambiase will begin handing over the reins as early as next week's United States Grand Prix in Austin, with Verstappen also scheduled to work with Hart in Brazil and Las Vegas.
Lambiase has engineered Verstappen since the Dutchman joined Red Bull early in the 2016 season, with the pair developing one of the sport's most successful driver-engineer partnerships. Their strong bond was on full display in Singapore last Sunday, when despite a radio failure on Verstappen's car, they still found a way to communicate and execute crucial strategic calls.
