Organisers of the United States Grand Prix in Austin have reported a record-breaking race weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, with an official three-day attendance figure of 467,000 spectators across Friday to Sunday.

That surpasses the venue's previous record, set in 2022, by 27,000 fans. While official attendance figures were not published for the prior two editions of the US Grand Prix, grandstands were packed to capacity in both 2024 and 2025.

The new benchmark serves as further proof of Formula 1's surging popularity in the United States over recent years. Prior to 2019, the Austin race weekend had never broken the 300,000 mark, whereas crowds have not dipped below 400,000 in the post-pandemic era.

The all-time Formula 1 attendance record was established earlier this season at the British Grand Prix, where a staggering 564,000 fans gathered at Silverstone over the race weekend.
