Romelu Lukaku Completes £28 Million Everton Record Deal

The 21 year old Belgian was on loan at Goodison park for the rest of last season and will not be returning to Chelsea who consider him surplus to requirement with the arrival of Didier Drogba and Diego Costa.

Lukaku was touted as the best strike partner for Spaniard Diego Costa by many pundits but the club's Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho said that the player's mindset does not fit that of Chelsea.

He completed the move to remain at the Merseyside permanently for 5 years on a weekly wage, ending a three year spell at the Stamford Bridge, after joining the club under Andres Villas Boas in 2011 for .

Since his two year spells on loan at West Brom and Everton, the young lad has scored a total of 31 goals, more than any Chelsea striker in the two seasons.
