Kadiri Ikhana Boasts That He Will Make Enyimba Champions Again

Enyimba coach, Kadiri Ikhana believes that the Aba Elephants can become Nigeria League Champions again. The coach spoke after the team's 1-1 draw with Rangers in an eastern derby on Sunday.

Ikhana who is on a second spell at the club after helping them win a double CAF Champions league and Nigerian league double in 2013 insists that he can lead them to glory again.

According to he said:

“We are on track to ending the season on top of the table.“We can lift the trophy at the end of season. That is my target. We are not talking about finishing in the top three, but emerging champions of the Nigerian league again.”

With the draw from the game against Rangers, the Aba Elephants are now 4th on the table with 33 points; a position they can better if they do better against Wari Wolves on Wednesday.
