The Lagos socialite and nightlife personality recently spoke about the business of nightlife, including how much money some strippers can make from customers in a single night.

According to Akinbo, one stripper once told him she made ₦1 million in one night simply from money sprayed on her by clubgoers.

He recalled the woman telling him, “Oh my God, your Sunday night is so lit, I literally earned ₦1 million from spraying.”

The revelation came during an appearance on the TalkYourTalk Podcast, where Akinbo discussed the spending culture in Lagos clubs and the money that flows through the nightlife industry.

For many Nigerians, spraying money at parties and clubs is a familiar part of the country's entertainment culture. But Akinbo's account highlights how lucrative the practice can become for entertainers who attract the attention of big spenders.

Akinbo also said the money sprayed directly on the strippers belongs to them. He further claimed that some clubs pay salaries to strippers who are exclusive to them, meaning their earnings can come from more than one source.

“Stripping is one of the highest-paying jobs in Lagos,” Akinbo said, while describing the earning potential within the city's nightlife scene.

He suggested that the owners of some high-end clubs are less concerned about the cash generated from spraying because their businesses operate within a much larger network of earnings.

Akinbo pointed to the spending habits of wealthy clubgoers, claiming that some patrons can spend ₦10 million, ₦15 million or even ₦20 million during a single night out.
