Doing without meat is good for the planet, and the animals we share it with, says Hanks. Wilson chimes in to say that plant-based diets also have health benefits.
Its nice to do with less meat those who arent full-fledged vegans or vegetarians, no meat on Monday, its actually a simple and easy thing to do. Let's do it, says Hanks.

Of course, you shouldn't follow the movement just because a celebrity said so. Research consistently shows that plant-based diets are linked with a lower risk of cancer , heart disease, and blood pressure. If you want to reduce meat consumption without sacrificing protein, fill up on lentils, beans, quinoa and broccoli .
